Exciting trekking, which will take us to the summit of Mount Meru at 4,566 metres above sea level, and then on to Lake Natron, heart of the Maasai culture, and the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano, a sacred mountain for this nomadic herding people.
Day 1 :
Outward flight/Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO)/Arusha
Reception and transfer to the quiet Arusha.
Days 2-3-4-5:
Mount Meru trekking
Four stages to discover Africa’s fourth highest mountain:
Day 6 :
Arusha/Lake Natron
Giraffe spotting and the Engaresero waterfalls.
Day 7 :
Lake Natron
Lake Natron with its pinkish waters and the encounter with the Maasai.
Day 8 :
Ol Doinyo Lengai trekking
The night ascent of the impressive Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano, sacred mountain of the Maasai.
Day 9 :
Lake Natron/Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO)
Visit a coffee plantation and the largest African art gallery on the continent.
Day 10 :
Return flight
