Tanzania is the land of photographic safaris, where you will be amazed by the wonders of nature: from the green plains of the Ngorongoro Crater, inhabited by black rhinos, to the Serengeti Park, where the mass migration of wildebeest to the Mara in Kenya takes place every year, from elephants hiding among the baobabs in the Tarangire Park, to tree-climbing lions in Manyara.

The coastline and islands on the Indian Ocean are magical, both for relaxing on pristine beaches of soft white sand and exploring its waters rich in marine life, but also for the Swahili villages and the vestiges of the ancient sultanates that traded raw materials and slaves with Persia, the Arabian Peninsula and India. The evocative names of Zanzibar, Mafia Island, Pemba and Kilwa Kisiwani are enough to enchant you.

Not forgetting, for the more adventurous, the possibility of climbing Kilimanjaro, the giant of Africa at almost 6,000 metres above sea level, Mount Meru, the continent’s fourth highest mountain at more than 4,500 metres above sea level, and Mt. 500 metres above sea level, and the mysterious Ol Donyo Lengai, a sacred volcano for the Maasai people, which rises above the plains just a stone’s throw from Lake Natron, another of the country’s natural wonders, with its reddish alkaline waters and a colony of over 3 million flamingos during the summer months.

And finally, the opportunity to meet and get to know the local cultures, from the Masai farmers and warriors, wrapped in their red tunics, to the Hadzabe nomadic hunters, from the Barabaig, who wear goatskins, to the Chagga, with their tradition of coffee cultivation.
