Walking through the forgotten mountains of West Africa, discovering enchanting landscapes covered by dense vegetation, streams hidden in the cracks of rocks, intricate labyrinths of lianas and wide valleys dotted with tiny villages of straw and clay. An unknown paradise among sacred caves and rocky arches, up to the spectacular Fouta Djalon waterfalls.
A discovery itinerary designed for those who want to venture into paths of great natural interest, regenerate in the green of lush forests and enjoy breathtaking views. From the Fouta Djalon plateau, whose highest peak reaches 1500 meters above sea level, the most important rivers in this portion of Africa are born: Senegal, Gambia and Niger. From here, the most interesting ecotourism circuits also radiate for lovers of trekking between remote villages, rocky peaks, dizzying waterfalls and extraordinary ecosystems in which it is still possible to spot elephants and chimpanzees.

The “hyena cliff”, an imposing rock formation resulting from erosion.

The colourful Safa market and the impressive Dinkon Falls.
