Meeting with the camel drivers and start of the trek on foot on the sands of Erg Ouarane.

The magnificent dunes of Lemkaleg, the splendour of the Sahara.

 

 

Day 5:

A day of crossing the Erg Ouarane, an authentic “sea of sand”.

 

 

Day 6:

Randonné: Erg Ouarane/Zarga

Ascent of Mount Zarga to admire the infinite panorama from above.

 

 

Day 7:

Randonné: Zarga/Oued Irat

Meeting with the nomads and their hospitality in Oued Irat.

 

 

Day 8:

Oued Irat/Oued Ichif

From sand to rock to the lush oasis of M’Haireth.

 

 

Day 9:

Randonné: Oued Ichif/Terjit; Terjit/Nouakchott

Arrival at the oasis of Terjit, perfect for a regenerating swim.
