A river cruise aboard the legendary Bou El Mogdad, a vintage boat restored to its former glory, which from November to May sails the waters that mark the border between Senegal and Mauritania, crossing a region rich in history, culture and natural beauty.
From the Atlantic Ocean to the gates of the Sahara, from the lively city of Saint Louis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first French settlement in West Africa, to the ancient colonial outposts of Richard Toll, Dagana and Podor. Among immense sugar cane plantations, ancient forts and sumptuous residences with decadent charm, picturesque villages and naturalistic oases that are home to hundreds of species of migratory birds. And at the end of the navigation, a ride to Lake Rosa and Gorée Island, for an experience out of time and the usual tourism circuits.
