The Sudanese Red Sea was first talked about in the 1960s, when the legendary Jacques Cousteau praised its crystal-clear waters as having ‘the highest concentration of underwater life in the world’. This unspoilt paradise can be explored aboard a gulet on a cruise that will delight diving enthusiasts. Un paradiso tuttora incontaminato che potremo esplorare a bordo di una goletta, per una crociera che entusiasmerà gli appassionati di subacquea.
The unique microclimate of the Red Sea offers spectacular seabeds, brightly coloured coral reefs and an incredible variety of tropical fish that can be seen up close when diving off Port Sudan. Among flat islands with white beaches and rocky promontories emerging from the crystal-clear waters, the diving possibilities are numerous and will also allow you to come face to face with harmless hammerhead sharks, to get close to ancient and fascinating wrecks and, in the area of Nakhalat al-Qasir, to swim among real stalagmites of the sea that, from the seabed, almost reach the surface.
